Tumbling

Developmental Tumbling:
Class time is 1 hour a week
(18 months – 2 yrs)

These classes teach body control, basic technique in tumbling, and body positions. Athletes will receive instruction and hands on spotting needed to properly execute a handstand, cartwheels, round-offs, and front/back handsprings.

Pre-School Tumbling:
Class time is 1 hour a week
(3 – 5 yrs old) 

These classes teach basic technique in tumbling and strength building drills. Athletes will receive instruction and hands on spotting needed to properly execute beginning and advanced tumbling skills. Basic skills taught in the class are handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and front/back handsprings.  

Junior Power Tumbling:
Class time is 1 hour a week
(6 – 9 yrs old)

These classes teach basic-advance technique in tumbling and strength building. Athletes will receive instruction and hands on spotting needed to properly execute beginning and advanced tumbling.
Level 1 - Basic skills taught in the class are handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, and front/back handsprings.
Level 2 - Basic skills taught in the class are front/back handsprings, front/back tucks, and etc. (Must have a good solid round-off.)

Power Tumbling:
Class time is 1 hour a week
(10 yrs old )

These classes teach basic-advance technique in tumbling and strength building. Athletes will receive instruction and hands on spotting needed to properly execute beginning and advanced tumbling.


Beginner- Basic skills taught in the class are handstands, cartwheels, round-offs.
Handspring Class- The skills taught in the class are standing back handsprings, jumps to back handsprings, running series of back handsprings
Tucks - The skills taught in the class are jumps to back handspring tucks, front tucks, standing back tucks(Must have a round-off back handspring tuck.)
Layout/FullsL - The skills taught in the class are jumps with tucks, layouts, full,full twist,  double fulls and etc. (Must have good layout and standing tuck.)
